Legal Transcriber Service: Time is your most precious commodity. Free up valuable billable hours and send us your dictation! E-Typist provides you with an 800 number or the settings for your recording device so you can send files directly to our typing queue. Your legal typist will professionally transcribe and return it in draft form, within 24 hours, for you and your staff to edit and finalize.

All of our typists have proven legal experience and transcription skills and their work is still proofread upon finalization.

Legal Virtual Assistant: When it’s time to delegate more than transcribing assignments, you and your E-Typist onboarding consultant will draft a job description after examining the administrative aspects of your business including processes and software. You will determine the optimal communication and workflow strategy with your legal virtual assistant.

STEP 2: Meet Your Virtual Legal Assistant or Typist

E-Typist will pair you with a dedicated virtual legal assistant who best suits your practice and work style and will set up an introductory conference call/interview with your assistant. 

Our legal assistants are active at-home E-typists who have demonstrated their skillsets, reliability, and professionalism in advance of being offered this opportunity.

STEP 3: Set Up A Meeting with Your New Team Member

As a part of the on-boarding process, you will want to block some time to chat with your legal assistant or typist to answer questions, determine workflow, and manage expectations.  Communication is the key to your success, so you will want to decide the best way to work with your assistant, whether it’s via email, text, phone or app.

STEP 4: Track your time

E-Typist provides you access to our work/time tracker software so you are able to view your projects and time spent by your typist or virtual legal assistant at any time, so as to manage your budget.
